Along with Kolano Design, this signage for the South Side Works in Pittsburgh PA lays tribute to the booming steel industry that made Pittsburgh. Constructed from aluminum and neon lights, these signs make it hard to forget where you parked your car. Along with parking facility signage, we created South Side Works pedestrian directional signage. The I-beam structure became the reoccurring theme found in the main identity and pedestrian signs. These are placed on nearly every block, providing easy directions to any part of the South Side Works.

The Market House Condominiums and Market District Supermarkets from Giant Eagle take a fresh and organic look towards grocery shopping, and they needed a fresh design. Using sandstone, frosted glass, and pineapples; the international symbol for welcome, Market District became an intriguing hotspot. We designed additional identity signage for the Market District Supermarkets, differentiating Market District from the original Giant Eagle stores. We then exaggerated the size of the Market District name to give it a larger than life feel.

Our client, Storage In Motion, required a billboard identity sign that was unique from the typical highway billboard. In response, we created this permanent and vivid structure for Storage In Motion. Standing 40 feet high, this billboard is impressive and difficult to miss. Using interior lighting structures, the sign becomes illuminated after the sunset.

Working with Kolano Design, we created the River Town Shopping Center Identity Sign with the intention of keeping the sign modern and reserved. The stand-alone lettering near the top give the sign a more distinguished appearance, while the simplicity makes the tenant list easier to read. Legibility and readability was key to the graphic development of the Rivertown Identity Sign.

Also working with Kolano Design, we developed a new iconic sign for Funfest. Funfest exists as an entertainment haven that specializes in cosmic bowling, video games, and laser tag. To attract more nontraditional visitors, they wanted a sign that appealed to all crowds while exploding with personality. Using their logo, we expanded the lettering until it literally exploded from the background and exaggerated the hue of the warm colors to give the sign more character.
